President’s Message:

Hello. Thank you for stopping by.

Taking on the role of President of the Englewood Florida Chamber of Commerce for 2026 is an extreme honor for me. I love our little seaside town, and I am excited to work alongside so many dedicated folks who have given so much of their time and energy.

Englewood is not just a place on the map, but a true community full of people who care deeply about one another. I have been visiting the area since 1997, and had a second home in North Port for a decade. Now having our primary residence since 2020, I can wholeheartedly call this community home.

For 2026, my vision as your President is simple:

A Chamber that continues to grow without losing its heart. A Chamber that supports small businesses while encouraging smart, sustainable progress. A Chamber that listens, collaborates, and leads.

If you know me at all, you know I’m a social person. I believe in showing up, rolling up my sleeves, and building relationships. I like to play hard—but I work harder. And I believe the best things happen when people connect, collaborate, and genuinely enjoy working together. That philosophy will guide me as your President.

A bit about me: Until moving to Rotonda in 2020, I spent most of my life in New England. As a former VP of a community bank in New Hampshire I was involved in several community and Real Estate organizations. My biggest involvement was with a local Chamber of Commerce; Serving as President in 1998, and on the Board Of Directors for many years.

I found, as others have, that helping people and giving back to a community is both personally rewarding and emotionally fulfilling.
Thank you for your continued support of the Chamber and Englewood. I look forward to focusing on the matters at hand to keep Englewood safe, thriving, and unique.
