The State Department of Health through Chuck Henry requested assistance via a resource request to identify and procure a centrally located indoor space for the purpose of providing vaccines.  Over the past week, county staff has worked in close coordination with the DOH in the development and execution of a lease for space at Sarasota Square Mall for this purpose.

The Florida Department of Health issued a COVID-19 Data and Surveillance Dashboard.

The LE Class of 2020 had many businesses that donated items to be part of a chance auction at their Leadership Lil 500 event that was cancelled. 

The Sarasota County Commission, Wednesday (Nov. 4th) approved the increase in individual assistance from $5,000 to $10,000 per grant.
