Announcement from Chamber President
Dear Englewood Chamber Members,
I’m writing to you today to inform you that your Executive Director, Doug Izzo, has given his 30 day notice of resignation as of August 6th 2026.
This comes as a bit of a shock, but we as a board understand that everyone is on a journey, and sometimes that journey has twists and turns that come unexpectedly. That old adage ” when opportunity knocks” comes to mind
We are so grateful for Doug’s passion and commitment to a town he, and we, all love. Doug joined us in 2021 and has helped expand the Chamber’s membership, and gain a respectable standing in our community. He was a great asset to the Chamber that we all will sorely miss.
From being our voice in Tallahassee, to helping our community battle and recover from several major hurricanes, Doug’s efforts will be remembered for some time to come. We wish him all the success in his future endeavors.
