What You Don’t Know Can Make a Big Difference for Your Business

You know the old adage, “what you don’t know can’t hurt you”?  Well, don’t tell Mom, but I would have to disagree with that.  If you don’t know what can help you, that in fact can hurt you…or at least not help you.  The Chamber strives to help you grow your business by providing networking opportunities, reaching new customers through our website, social media, newsletter, community guide, events, the Visitors Center along with opportunities for additional advertising.  We support many non-profits, and we work hard to service visitors to our area to maintain a strong economy through tourism.  Some things you probably didn’t know about our Chamber:

1. Our weekly newsletter is received by over 5 thousand emails.

2. We print 7500 paper maps a year and it’s rare that someone doesn’t stop by for a map.

3. We see over 9,000 annual guests to our Visitors Center.

4. We can assist with permitting & licensing.

5. We offer various workshops to provide education.

6. We advocate for you on a local, state, and national level.

7. We recognize excellence in business every year.

8. Our Executive Director is the tidiest person in the building, and I can run in high heels!

I have nothing less than gratitude and respect for the Englewood chamber of Commerce staff and members. They welcomed us with open arms when we moved here and opened our small business. We have since then expanded our business to business communications, vendors, clientele, community involvement and friendships. Who does that? The Englewood Chamber of Commerce does that! Thank you.

Thanks for providing the reminder of your continuing efforts and impact for disaster relief. Many are “back to normal”, more or less, but the Chamber continues to work tirelessly for all. So proud to be a member of the Chamber. You are amazing community leaders.

I’ve lived in many towns up North and involved in many Chambers, but Englewood’s Chamber outdoes them all! The support for the community overall, fun events, and responsiveness to needs and challenges…unparalleled!

Looking forward to the 4th of July in Englewood. The Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary is doing a great job in making this possible with businesses around Englewood.

This is a great breakdown of the real value behind Chamber membership—especially the trust it builds within the local community. In a place like Englewood, where so many people are new to the area, that credibility really matters. We’ve seen the same on the land side here in Florida—people want to work with businesses they feel confident in. Appreciate you highlighting how much that local connection still counts: https://bubba-land.com/
