Love is in The Air…It’s a Great Time to Get Engaged
February is known as the month of love. A time filled with hearts, sweet treats, and special moments shared with the people who matter most. Here at the Chamber, we’re celebrating February a little differently… because we’re showing love the best way we know how: by supporting our members and creating opportunities for them to connect, grow, and succeed. We have many opportunities for you to get engaged for success!
Tomorrow, we invite you to join us at the Lemon Bay Woman’s Clubs’ Centennial Celebration 11:30am-2pm. Come tour the clubhouse at 51 N. Maple Street. See how great it looks for 100 years old! The next day, we will have some Fun After 5 at Grande Aire’s Englewood location at 1606 Faust Drive. The Boy Scouts will be grilling dogs & burgers and we will have plenty of spirits courtesy of Mark Knauf CPA & Angie Vance with Gulfside Mortgage. We will also be collecting items for Jessy’s Toy Box…an organization that distributes toys, books, games, and other items to children in hospitals, the ER or receiving infusions.
Don’t forget about the 22nd Annual Cracker Fair this weekend at Pioneer Plaza from 10am-4pm. It’s a local tradition hosted by the Lemon Bay Historical Society that offers fun for the entire family. Come enjoy music, a photo booth, demonstrations and of course the Lemon Dessert Baking Contest.
Registration is open for our networking lunch this month. First time host Stefano’s Family Restaurant will serve us on Feb. 18th. Reserve your seat on our website at EnglewoodChamber.Com. We are also looking forward to our first Joint Mixer of the year at Southern Design Living on Feb. 26th. Details can be found on our website.
Our Chamber members are the heart of everything we do. From our small business owners and entrepreneurs to our larger employers and community partners, you are what makes our local economy strong. Your dedication, hard work, and passion deserves to be celebrated, not just in February, but all year long!
The most successful Chamber members are the ones who take advantage of what the Chamber offers. They attend events, volunteer, sponsor, introduce themselves, and build relationships. They get involved and because of that involvement, their businesses gain visibility, credibility, and connections that lead to real results. Your membership is an investment. The more involved you are, the more valuable it becomes. Let’s make February a month of connection, collaboration, and growth. Get engaged for success.

I have nothing less than gratitude and respect for the Englewood chamber of Commerce staff and members. They welcomed us with open arms when we moved here and opened our small business.
