The Path to Progress Begins with Your Local Chamber
As we step into a new year, the Englewood Chamber wants to help you walk a smoother path to success. Membership offers many benefits for a reasonable rate. We offer opportunities for local businesses to connect, collaborate and not only survive, but thrive! Have you set business goals for 2026? We can help you achieve those goals with networking, advertising, education and leadership opportunities. One such event is our monthly Fun After 5. We mix & mingle this Wednesday at first time host, Right at Home, located at 4315 S. Access Road. Come enjoy food & drinks and make new connections tomorrow from 5-7pm.
Our monthly networking lunch is always held on the third Wednesday. Landy’s Restaurant will be hosting us on January 21st from noon-1pm. Registration is required and can be done on our website at Englewoodchamber.com. All of our scheduled events for 2026 can be found on our website’s calendar under “Chamber Events”.
We have three ribbon cuttings already scheduled for this year. Thursday we will be bringing the big scissors to celebrate the grand opening of Cabana Bay RV Resort, located at 9001 Gasparilla Road. Stop by and see this one-of-a-kind resort on 5 acres between 4:30-6pm.
We are also excited and busy getting ready for our annual awards banquet which will be held on February 3rd to honor excellence in business. We honor those that have made an outstanding contribution to our local economy and the Chamber this past year. This prestigious occasion not only is a celebration, but it fosters connections among entrepreneurs, community leaders, and residents, creating a vibrant network of support. Plus, we will toss in a little fun too! Registration is required since seats are limited and can be done on our website. This year’s event will be held at The Hills in Rotonda West from 5:30-8pm. We will also look back on our accomplishments in 2025 and look forward by introducing our new President, Board of Directors and our All Stars. We will roll out the red carpet to welcome our guests and capture the moment with professional photographs.
If you are looking to get more engaged in your community and support over 140 local non-profits, being a member accomplishes both. By supporting our mission, you in turn are supporting other members. You can also help our new businesses. They can learn from our long-standing members who have been a part of Englewood’s growth. Having a solid support network can make all the difference in becoming a successful business. We encourage you to become the best you can be. I have nothing less than gratitude and respect for the Englewood chamber of Commerce staff and members. They welcomed us with open arms when we moved here and opened our small business.
