The Chamber Can Help You Have a Successful Summer…
As the temperature rises and the pace of life slows down a bit in our area, the Chamber is ramping up its efforts to make this a summer to remember. We are excited to announce that June is a particularly busy month for us, with a wide array of events and activities planned to help our members connect, grow their businesses, and enjoy the summer to the fullest.
Don’t hit the snooze button tomorrow. We want you to join us at Coastline Nutrition in Tiffany Square for the “Brew Crew”. Stop by for some business before business over a cup of coffee. Plus, Coastline Nutrition will have some samples of their popular drinks that you can enjoy while networking with other members for an hour. This Wednesday we celebrate the amazing job Leadership Englewood Class of 23 did helping our community with hurricane cleanup. The class graduation will be held at The Waverly at 5:30pm. Registration is required. Now is also the time to apply for Leadership 24. The application can be found on our website under Leadership or recent news.
The following week, our Fun After 5 will be in South Gulf Cove at a model home hosted by Coastal Premier Properties and Exp Realty. It will also be a Flag Day Celebration, so wear your red, white, and blue and join us June 14th at 14226 San Domingo Blvd-Port Charlotte. We will also be collecting schools supplies that night for TLC-The Literacy Center for Dyslexia. Check the event info on our website for the list of needed items. Another networking opportunity this month will be our Biz@Noon, June 21st at The American Legion, Post #113 in Rotonda West. Registration is open on our website EnglewoodChamber.Com. The following day, we will celebrate success at one of our nonprofits with a ribbon cutting June 22nd, 4:30-6pm at the Englewood Alano Club, located at 2936 S. McCall Road. Come learn about this amazing group that helps so many. There will be refreshments provided by Magnolias on the Bay and Joe Maxx Coffee. Are you new to the Chamber? Then plan to attend our New Member Orientation Breakfast on June 28th at 8:30am. This free one-hour meeting with make sure you get the most from your membership. Seats are limited, so register on our website to reserve your seat. Not a member? I personally invite you to attend and learn why we are “seriously fun business”!
Plans are also underway for this year’s Chamber Summer Golf “Par-Tee” July 29th at The Hills at the Rotonda Golf & Country Club. This is a great opportunity to make new connections while having some fun on the links. The idea is to have Chamber businesses purchase a team of four and use it as an employee team building outing, a get together amongst friends, client appreciation, or invite individuals you would like to get to know better to increase business connections. There are also opportunities to get your business noticed by being a hole sponsor or donating a prize for our chance auction. Please reach out to me for more details at Kim.parks@EnglewoodChamber.Com You can see, there is truly something for everyone at the Englewood Chamber this summer. So come join us and soak up the energy and excitement of this vibrant summer season!

I have nothing less than gratitude and respect for the Englewood chamber of Commerce staff and members. They welcomed us with open arms when we moved here and opened our small business. We have since then expanded our business to business communications, vendors, clientele, community involvement and friendships. Who does that? The Englewood Chamber of Commerce does that! Thank you.

I’ve lived in many towns up North and involved in many Chambers, but Englewood’s Chamber outdoes them all! The support for the community overall, fun events, and responsiveness to needs and challenges…unparalleled!
