Putt Putt for 2020 Cancelled

The Englewood Chamber has decided to cancel the Englewood Beach Putt Putt event.  Originally scheduled for August 15th, the event was postponed until December in hopes it would be better attended later in the year.

Interim Executive Director, Kim Parks said, “This year’s theme was “Red, White and Blue” and we were really hoping to make it a fun celebration, but the challenges of COVID are not allowing that to happen.  The participating venues put in a great deal of effort and money to make this event a success.  With the current climate, we worried that the event wouldn’t be as successful as we would want.  It also takes many volunteers and right now, many are still hesitant to help.”

Previous years have included the participation of more than 120 four-person teams, that self-toured Englewood to play a mini-golf hole in a “pub crawl” style event.  In keeping with the CDC guidelines, this year’s attendance was limited to 50% of capacity.

Teams that were registered for the event, can either receive a refund or remain signed-up to guarantee their spot in next year’s event. Reach out to Business@EnglewoodChamber.Com with any questions.
