You should be aware of two phone calls I took this morning.
- The first was from a lady from St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Her family is leaving Michigan, in January, to spend the balance of the winter on Manasota Key. The purpose of her call was to know if we (The Chamber of Commerce) had some information about the restaurants and other area businesses. I made her aware of our Community Guide publication and told her we could send that to her. She was pleased to hear my response. Can’t you imagine her sitting next to her fireplace, paging through the Community Guide … and becoming educated with the Englewood area? Would she see your business or would you be missing out?
- The second phone call was from a local full-time resident. She called the Chamber to ask if we knew the phone number to the post office. She was frustrated because she could not find the number in the “phone book”. I told I would be pleased to help her and was opening our Community Guide. She responded to that by saying … “Oh, I already looked in there. That is my phone book.” How many other local people are using the Chamber’s Community Guide as their phone book? Would she see your business or would you be missing out?
I share these two stories with you because these are the kind of calls the Chamber receives 1000’s a times throughout the year.
ROI Media is currently taking reservations for the 2015 Community Guide. Their contact information and rates are included in the email. We don’t want you to miss out.
