Live Local Act Information Session
Sarasota County will be hosting a public information session on Florida Statute § 125.01055, also known as the Live Local Act (LLA), in Englewood on 5:30pm June 1st at Elise Quirk Library 100 W. Dearborn Street.
The County will host public information sessions to provide residents with opportunities to learn more and ask questions about the Live Local Act.
Under the LLA, Sarasota County must authorize multi-family and mixed-use residential as allowable uses in certain commercially, industrially, and mixed-use zoned areas when affordability requirements established by state law are met. During these sessions, County staff will provide an overview of the law and any relevant updates.
