Race to Conserve 5K timed run and 1K to 5K untimed walk

GUARANTEED RACE SHIRT DEADLINE! January 28, 2026 at 12 midnite is the last day to be GUARANTEED an event shirt with your registration to run or walk. Our ability to purchase extra shirts to have on hand on race day will be determined by the number of sponsorships we obtain for the event.
A 1K walk route will be marked; however walkers are free to choose their distance between 1K to 5K. Leashed dogs welcome!

Post-race snacks and beverages and information booths by some of our area’s other nonprofit groups will be on hand.
A silent auction will be held on site the morning of the race, your presence is not required to be the winning bidder on any item; we will call/text you. We will accept cash, check, credit cards and Venmo.
A 50/50 raffle will also be held! 1 ticket for $5 – 5 tickets for $10 and arm’s length for $20.
You may recognize us better under our FORMER doing-business-as name, The Environmental Conservancy of North Port And Surrounding Areas. To better clarify our mission, our Board of Directors decided to change our doing-business-as name to the “Neighborhood Land Conservancy” effective 1/1/2026 to better clarify exactly what we do, which is save neighborhood land for nature!
We are a 501c3nonprofit keeping nature in neighborhoods by acquiring and protecting land parcels in Sarasota/Charlotte Counties so far including 2 in Englewood, 1 in South Gulf Cove, 1 in Gulf Cove and many others across Charlotte County and North Port.
