The Trades at The Library

Have you thought about any of the trades as a career? You can enjoy good pay and benefits and rewarding work knowing you’ve helped build or fix something. But, how do you get started? “The Trades at the Library” is a free event where representatives from the various trades – carpenters, electricians, construction, etc. as well as Southern Technical College will be available to share insights about training, skills, apprenticeships, and employment and business creation opportunities within the trades.

Traditional academic curriculum may not be the best fit for everyone. If you’re handy or have an interest in learning how to make or fix things, the trades may offer other gainful career choices.

Please join us for this live event Friday April 25, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM hosted at
