First Responder Monument Dedication

You are invited to join us on Thursday, February 20, 2025 for the unveiling of the First Responders Monument and Dedication Ceremony at the Englewood Veterans Memorial and Freedom Pavilion. The ceremony will begin at 10:00am.

In collaboration with the Englewood Chamber of Commerce, this monument is a heartfelt celebration of the dedication and sacrifice of our First Responders from the Englewood Fire District, Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, Charlotte County Fire & EMS, Sarasota County Fire & EMS, Sarasota County Schools Police Department, and North Port Fire Rescue.

Immediately following the ceremony across the street under the Pavilion, there will be a reception complete with celebratory cake and coffee, graciously donated by Dearborn Coffeehouse & Bakery.
