9/11 Memorial Ceremony
On the solemn occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, we cordially invite you to join us for a Memorial Ceremony to honor the lives lost and the resilience of our nation.
Date: September 11, 2023 Time: 9:30am Location: Dignam Family Stage at Pioneer Park Address: 300 W. Dearborn Street
This event will serve as a heartfelt tribute to the brave individuals who lost their lives, the heroes who responded selflessly, and a reminder of the unity and strength that emerged in the face of adversity. As we remember this pivotal moment in our history, it is essential to come together as a community to honor the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice and to reflect on the enduring spirit of our nation.
The ceremony will include speeches, a moment of silence, and a display of remembrance.
The Englewood Chamber teamed up with the Englewood Area Fire Control District, Operation Solid 7, Michael Saunders & Company, VFW Post 10178 and Wampler Varner Insurance Group to put on this ceremony.
