Calusa Adventures!

Please RSVP at: www.BIPS.org
Come explore nature and history with us in our new and exciting program, Calusa Adventures! On your adventure, you’ll learn about the Mighty Calusa Indians who lived right here in SW Florida over 500 years ago! Don’t miss the fun of being a Calusa for a day! We’ll create a traditional miniature Calusa Village with homes and canals using dirt, palm fronds and shells from the beach! We’ll paint Calusa Masks, and like the Calusa, we’ll make our own shell jewelry! See you at 9:30 a.m. at the picnic area just to the north side of the Port Boca Grande Lighthouse, located inside Gasparilla Island State Park at the south end of Boca Grande, 880 Belcher Road. Water and sunscreen is advised.
Calusa Adventures for non-members is $5 for kids 5 yrs. to 13 yrs. old, and free to current BIPS Members who enter coupon code BIPS. Come Explore with Us!
