LBC ANNUAL MEETING: February 24th, 2022

After a brief business meeting, estuary scientists, Dr. William (Coty) Keller, PhD and Ms. Judy Ott, M.S will address a subject of interest to all residents of the Lemon Bay area: water quality. Their presentation titled Lemon Bay—It’s Complicated: Ideas for Restoring & Safeguarding our Special Estuary will summarize how the fragile diversity and health of Lemon Bay are changing with increasing urbanization, temperatures, storms and sea levels. They will explain what individuals can do to reverse these trends and safeguard Lemon Bay for future generations.

Our speakers have a wealth of information to share with us. All are welcome on Thursday, February 24th. Light refreshments will be served.
