11th Annual Tennis Ball

Save the date, as plans are underway at the Boca Grande Club for their 11th Annual Tennis Ball, to be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019, from 6-9 p.m., at their Clubhouse.

All proceeds are to benefit Suncoast Humane Society who serves Charlotte and Sarasota counties, Boca Grande, and beyond.

The planning committee promises some new and exciting activities, complimented by a gourmet buffet-style dinner, beverages, and exciting live and silent auctions.

The auctions offer upscale items, including art, entertainment, and travel packages. Last year’s event raised nearly $80,000 for Suncoast Humane Society’s programs, services and the homeless animals they serve, including their partnership with the Boca Grande Club to help the Island Cats of Boca Grande.

Tickets are $125 and include dinner and beverages, and can be reserved now at Suncoast Humane Society, their three Thrift Stores, and the Boca Grande Club. Online purchases can also be made at www.humane.org.

The Tennis Ball serves to kick off the Boca Grande Club’s six-week Professional Tennis Exhibition tournament. It will be held every Wednesday from January 30th through March 6th at the Club. There will be men’s, women’s and mixed doubles, featuring top professional and collegiate players.
