The Lemon Bay Playhouse will hold open auditions for the first show of our 31st season. Auditions for “Annoyance” will be held on Sunday, July 23 and Monday, July 24 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at the playhouse, 96 W. Dearborn St., Englewood.
The play, a comedy, written by Sam Bobrick and Directed by Michele Strauss, calls for a cast of one female and two male actors. The show will run from September 6 through September 24, 2017.
A very annoying man goes to see two therapists with the hopes of becoming less annoying. In the first scene, the man goes to see a woman therapist in the hopes that she will help him become less annoying. He drives her over the edge. In the second scene, he sees her husband, also a therapist, and drives him over the edge. In the third scene, he sees both therapists, who have decided to take drastic measures to rid the world of this most obnoxious man. Of course, it doesn’t go as planned.
