Smoked Mullet Luncheon

The “Secret Society of Smoked Mullets” has chosen the 2017 winner, but it’s a secret until the annual Smoked Mullet Luncheon to be held Friday, June 23, 2017, at The Gulf View Grille.

The Secret Society of Smoked Mullets was started in 1996 by then Chamber President, Nita (Edmondson) Cole. “The intention is to honor people from the past who helped create the Englewood we have today – people who have probably never been recognized with an award for their hard work and dedication in the past,” explains Nita Cole.

Program:

• 11:15 to 12 NOON – Guests Arrive / Reception
• 12:00 – Welcome and Invocation
• 12:10 – Lunch Served
• 12:15 – Program
• 1:00 – Closing Remarks and Conclusion

Menu Choices:

• Open Faced Hot Roast Beef Sandwich
  Topped with a Brown Gravy and served with Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes.
• Very Berry Chicken Salad
  Sweet Strawberries, Black Berries, Cherry Tomatoes, Slivered Red Onions, Bleu Cheese Crumbles, Candied Pecans and Grilled Chicken. Served with a Side of Raspberry Vinaigrette.
• Lobb Cobb Salad
  Spring Greens, Cherry Tomatoes, Apple Wood Smoked Bacon Pieces, Bleu Cheese Crumbles, Fresh Avocado and Lobster Salad.
  Served with a side of Garlic Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing.

Dessert: Strawberry Shortcake with Creme Anglaise and Grand Marnier Whipped Cream
