Plant Native Day

Annual “Plant Native” Day March 12, 2016, Cedar Point Park, 2300 Placida Rd, Englewood, FL, 9:30AM-1:00PM The theme of the Mangrove Chapter Florida Native Plant Society’s 14th Annual FREE “Plant Native” Day is “Choose Alter-natives.” Laurel Schiller of Florida Native Plants Nursery & Landscaping will speak (10 AM) about “Alter-natives in the landscape,” and will have native plants for sale. A panel (11 AM) will discuss “Creating a home yard with Florida native plants,” followed by (noon) a tour the native plant garden at Cedar Point Park & trail walk.
