Florida Native Plant Society Meeting

Join the Mangrove Chapter, Florida Native Plant Society for a presentation on “What a Master Gardener Learns About Native Plants”. Our guest speaker will be Vickie Lowe, a northern transplant who learned about native plants and acquired valuable gardening information through Florida Master Gardener Program. She will speak about a variety of recommended native plants for the Southwest Florida homeowner that align with Florida Friendly landscaping guidelines. Learn about ground covers, grasses, trees, shrubs and perennials that will attract birds, butterflies and other pollinators to your yard, with several gardening tips and sage advice thrown in.
