Artists in Libraries: Mini 3-D Watercolor Painting
Create a miniature watercolor painting in 3D. Paint it, fold it, and it stands up for a panoramic view of your art! Use your own reference photo or inspirational materials will be available. Learn about the transparent quality of watercolor and optical color mixing by layering colors. See a demonstration of different watercolor and brushstroke techniques. Learn different watercolor and brushstroke techniques; color mixing theory, how to crease and glue paper to make a 3-D square and how to tear paper to make deckled edges.
