Shoes for Kids campaign

SHOES FOR KIDS CAMPAIGN – Hope Lutheran Church will be collecting shoes for KIDS IN NEED again this year. The campaign runs from June 21 thru end of August. Those who benefit from this program are the children in the Charlotte County Public School system. For some children this is the only pair of NEW shoes they get. Remember, this program is not a “come and grab” program. Each school has a contact person who knows which children are truly in need. The bin is located by the office door. Remember that any NEW tennis shoes qualify and can be purchased at K-mart, Wal-Mart, Target or any department store … And if a great sale is going on … BONUS … get several pair. Monetary donations also are accepted, and can be mailed to: Sunrise Kiwanis, 1489 Market Circle, Unit 308, Port Charlotte, FL 33953; or contribute via the Sunrise Kiwanis website (www.pcsunrisekiwanis.org.)
