Free Comic Book Day

This is a national event held on the first Saturday of May where comic book stores throughout the country offer a free comic book to each customer. Publishers print popular titles specifically for this event. Partnering with local comic book store The Darkside Comics, Sarasota County Libraries invites teens and children to choose a free comic book to take home.
