Native Plant Walk

Join the Mangrove Chapter, Native Plant Society at 9:00 am on January 31 for a slow stroll on the trails of Prairie/Shell Creek east of Punta Gorda. Several scrub jay families reside on the mesic flatwoods and tidal marsh found here. Some of the plants expected to see are Rose of Plymouth, sandweed, turkey oak and sand pine. Everyone is welcome.
