Shipwreck Dance

The traditional Englewood Pioneer Days Street Dance is back! In response to the folks who remembered the good times of Englewood Pioneer Days past and let the committee know about it, the Shipwreck Dance is going to the street. Dearborn St., that is, at Pioneer Park, on Saturday evening, August 30 from 5 – 10 PM. And, in keeping with the street dance tradition, it’s FREE. There will be entertainment all night long with “Lucky 7,” 7 friends who play jazz, swing, funk, motown,and popular hits, opening for the headliner “Kettle Of Fish.” Look for “Kettle Of Fish” to get things going with the amalgam of rock, blues, reggae and New Orleans soul they’ve become known for. There will be food trucks, beer, and contests! Everyone is invited to come “dressed for a shipwreck” and have a great time. Street Dance! Why we’re “Hooked On Englewood.”
