Jon is serving as Executive Director. Jon has over thirty year's of association management and government affairs experience and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE). He serves under the direction of the President and the Board of Directors. He is responsible for results under the Strategic Plan and manages a staff of two. The Chamber operation includes a Welcome Center on site staffed by 24 active volunteers, in addition to all the Chamber programs and events designed to assist members in developing and enhancing their businesses.He is the staff liaison to the Government Relations Committee and to the Tourism Development Committee.

 

Kathy O'Connell

Kathy started with the Chamber in December 2009. She is currently serving as Office Manager her responsibilities include assisting the Executive Director in accounting functions, maintaining the membership database, customer service referrals and submitting press releases to the local media for various awards. She has been an Englewood resident since 1978 and is raising her daughter who now attends the same high school she also graduated from. Her work background includes the last eight years as the BGUMC Financial Accountant and before that a Customer Service Rep. at Englewood Bank.  She has seen many changes and growth in our wonderful Englewood area and looks forward to spending more time getting to know our community here at the Chamber.

Currently serving as Events Coordinator, Jamie she is responsible for planning and organizing events, keeping Chamber members and the public up-to-date on events, and writing press releases.
